I was prepared to pay full price for a CB1100 at my local shop "Pete's of Baltimore". My dear wife said "do some shopping around". Called several dealers within 100 miles. PowerSports of Crofton, who only sells Honda products, came back $1000 under list. Called Pete's and they dropped $100 below Crofton. Back to Crofton and sold me my brand new CB for $8299 list. And I'm sure they were still making money on the deal.

I don't want to bad mouth Pete's, but if anyone in the Baltimore/Washington area is in the market for a CB1100, talk to Josh at Crofton. Or find an exclusive Honda dealership in your area that can buy their bikes directly from Honda at a lower cost....and hopefully pass that on to you.
