I always have two cans of gas each holding 5 gallons of gas , for my riding lawn mower and other lawn equipment.I also use this to fill up my bikes before I leave for a ride.
I fill these at a local Shell station with premium gas (contains some ethanol)
After nov. first I put 1 oz of marine grade Stabil in every 5 gallon ,I never know when I use the bikes or lawn equipment again ,might not be for a while.
However this week in NC I used my bikes for 3 days,the weather was good!
Late march I stop putting the stabil into the gas cans.
