Fuel Additives?

I use Starbrite StarTron fuel stabilizer year round. It wards off the problems of ethanol. Lucas also makes a very good stabilizer. Sta-Bil is what I used for years but this other stuff is much better. A little expensive but well worth the headaches it will save and, of course, keep your bike in top running condition. Running SeaFoam through your fuel system once or twice a year is also a wise choice.
