I bought my 13 sight unseen and have no fear of buying a 14 DLX sight unseen.
Everything you mentioned... frump aside... is what I like too. I've never liked the look of the '13's headers... both the color and the look of the waterfall. The same thing with the side covers...never liked them either. And I also don't like the look of the bike on the side without the exhaust... something is missing! And the look of the bike from the back.. same thing. But as you, me, and others have previously said... we bought the bike that was available. And it's a GREAT bike... it's just the new one will be even BETTER... frump aside of course!
