Was out for a nice long ride today, I had about a 100 mile jaunt down the freeway on the way home, 75-80 mph sustained the whole way. The revs seemed a little high, but the bike was very smooth, and didn't seem to mind. I am still running stock exhausts so it wasn't loud. Maybe the taller gearing isn't necessary anyway.
Funny how the bike feels like it's wound up at 80 mph, but if you roll the throttle the rest of the way open, it just takes off.

(P.S. Down one very long straight stretch, I hit the speed limiter for the first time since I've had the bike, I wasn't looking real hard at the gauge, but it was around 110. Felt like a stall.)
