The reality is we are not in control of what product comes from Honda. You buy a product weather an iPhone, iPad and etc if it meets your current needs/desires and price point. If a new comes one has to evaluate the reward versus cost. I for one love my 2013. I'll change components to make it mine. If the 2014 was in a color I wanted badly or had some feature I could not live without I pay them or get a second bike. Of course who knows what 2015 will hold? Why did some markets get white, or black or blue? Who knows the logic but I am sure Mr. T for a price can solve the issue. My CB1100 has got me jazzed about bikes again, allowed me to take my old BMW down for a rebuild, and fills a need that the BMW could not fill. Heck when the BMW is off the lift , I'm going to get the 1970 CB 750 that my buddy has given me and restore it. If had wanted the CB 750 I could have gotten it. I wanted a bike like the old CB but was not a project bike that I could rimed every day, be reliable, and suffer with getting parts until it becomes a collector item.
Enjoy what you have, change it as required to make it work or make you happy, or buy another. Life is short, enjoy, ride and stop thinking about the next model year.
