Header Pipe Discoloration - Possible Solution

That's about how my headers would look after an hour ride as well, without any protectant. How bad were yours getting before this? My headers have never really looked all that bad. They've only really spotted up once and I think that was because I was riding in the rain when the bike was already in need of a good washing. I polish them with some metal polish every once in a while and live with them until the next time I want to repeat the process. Today I tried the Pro Honda Metal Polish for the first time. That stuff works pretty slick and took less time than I expected. Leaves them nice 'n shiny.
