The CO BMW club holds an annual rally in Paonia each July. All bikes are welcome and it’s really a great event with great, easy going people. Perhaps something for you to look into for this year. It’ll be the 50th annual this year.
Paonia is only about 45 minutes from here. I'll look into that BMW event. That would be a fun and easy day ride for me.

Turn signal switch sticking is not normal. Some spray should take care of that.
I digital gear shift indicator can be added. Healtech makes a plug and play unit. I have them on both my bikes. It plugs into the diagnostic connector under the left side cover. A short one time set up and its good to go.
