2014 Instruments, gas gauge, etc
#1
The instruments on the 14 deluxe are pretty cool. Besides the gear indicator there is the led bar gauge for fuel we had on the 13s, plus a fuel computer for trip A and trip B which tells how many miles you've gone on each trip mode, what your mpg was for each trip mode, and how many gallons you consumed in each mode, plus an odometer.
(I use Trip A to record daily mileage which I keep track of on a calendar and Trip B for tank mileage from last refill).

I filled up yesterday and set Trip B mode to zero. This morning before taking off I set the Trip A to zero so I could record just todays mileage. By the time I had gone 142 miles I was down to my last bar (but it wasn't flashing) so I stopped for gas. Filled on the side stand to the same place in the neck as yesterday, it took 2.8 gals to fill which calculated out on my cell phone to 50.7 mpg. (surprisingly that's better than my 2013's first tank btw which was 48 mpg).

After the refill I zeroed the Trip B meter again to keep track of mileage on the tank, but left the Trip A as it was for my daily tracking

When I pulled into my driveway I pushed the button and checked the Trip A meter, which was mileage for today .....159.8 miles

then I pushed the button and checked mpgs for the day according to the computer 49.6 (pretty close to what I figured)

pushed the button again and it showed 3.2 gals of fuel consumed

then I zeroed the Trip A for whenever the next day to ride is.

Not sure of actual gas capacity but if it holds 4.6 gals for a tank at 50 mpg that would give you a range of 230 miles to pushing
