Not everyone wants a relationship with a dealer. Some of us just want to simply buy a bike at a fair price.
I do my own wrenching, so it's unlikely that they'll never see the bike again. Parts-wise, my local dealer's parts department is in such a shambles that they have not correctly completed an order for me in years.
They did give me what I thought was a fair deal when I requested a quote, so they got the sale. Other dealers insisted that I waste my time running a gauntlet of salespeople who knew less about the bike than I did. Frankly, I've got better things to do with my time.
I've got no problem with that if that is the way a dealer chooses to do business, but it's unlikely they'll get a response from me, much less a sale. Fortunately, there are some dealers who recognize that there are buyers ready to plunk down their cash without all the sales nonsense. Those will be the ones responding to the OP's request.
