I somewhat came to the same conclusion.
Yes, it's interesting how he pre-judged the bike in so many ways and then loved the torque.
I had to laugh at his excitement because that's how I felt too when I first rode it.
Exactly. The only other bikes I had ever ridden before my test drive on the CB was an xr650l and a buddy's Rebel.
I twisted the throttle in second and had a very similar reaction to his. Came back from the test drive, walked in saying "yeah, gonna have to go ahead and buy this one!"

You're a salesman's dream!
Well I still talked him down pretty good. Brand new 14 standard for 9185 out the door. If that's not a good deal, don't tell me because I'm feeling good about it.
What's funny is I walked into several smaller dealers and told them I was looking to pay cash and I wanted a test ride. For one reason or another, none of them would let me. Finally I went to a powerhouse dealer and got a test drive and immediately bought it. Now I'm getting ready to parade my bike to all the other dealers and say "hey guys, I told you I just wanted a test drive. Coulda bought this here but your loss!"
