I've been hearing about cleaning battery terminals with Coke since before I could drive. I even used it for that purpose once. Did a great job on my terminals, but that wasn't the problem. Jeep had a goofy system back in the early 90's where the ECU could tell the alternator not to charge the battery. To most it just looks like you got a bad alternator, until after you replace it, and it still won't charge. Sold it before I found out about what the real problem was.
