I've been reticent to comment on this one, as my pops has had a fairly rapid decent recently. Somehow, against all reason, we have assumed he would just go on forever. So I commiserate with your loss and pain, although I really don't know how it feels just yet.

My old man rode a freaking DT250 daily to his job at RCA as a software engineer back when, and I hope to keep that nutty motorcycle DNA going just a while longer.

May you ride, in his honor, when you are good and ready.
