Sorry to hear of these sad events. I know being a son, father and grandfather that your Dad's would be proud to know that you cared but they would also want you fellows to move forward, to enjoy the time you have with your families and to appreciate the past, present and future.
My Dad died when I was 26 years old and you know I was and always have been grateful that I had him as long as I did. Many aren't even as fortunate as I was.
I know my Dad would be proud of me. He would especially be proud that I learned from him. I learned how to be a good Dad. I believe that my daughter would agree. And she's a good mom. Nothing to be sad about. (but of course we still are)
