You can also have the stock ECU flashed with a new map. The fellow doing it can tweak the map for different mods, and remove the built in speed governor. Runs about $350 (there is a thread around here somewhere regarding that) and completely negates the need for a power commander. No need for a middle man when you are talking to THEE man.
There is a group doing our own maps with freeware software for Ducati's and Moto Guzzi's, I'm kinda surprised a grass roots group has not formed for Honda's/CB1100.
TunerPro is free (used to edit and create maps) but it needs to know how the ECU is laid out (what the different memory addresses hold and their functions).
