I would have been in that boat except I bought my 13 when they were just rumored to be coming to the states and got the first one in the area. I managed to put 7,000 miles on my 13 before Honda announced the 14 DLX and I was forced to get one of those. Now I got 4,000 miles on the 14 and this is the last CB1100 I'm buying (at least for awhile lol)

Seriously I don't understand how these two bikes (the Vulcan and the CB) can even be in the same consideration... Either you are a cruiser guy..or you're not. I have the perfect body for a cruiser guy, short, stubby legs.. BUT..I'm not a cruiser guy and I know that. Just like I know I'm not a sport bike guy. I'm also not an ADV guy. I am a naked, standard, UJM guy.

Then we can argue over whether true retro means '40s or '70s style!
