I may have shared this earlier on another thread, but I'll tell the tale again.
Here is our new adoptee, Runner. I swear that was his name when he got here .

He was a working sled dog in Alaska until recently and made his way to us through some friends who are big into that sport.
He is 10 years old but doesn't act it. He is very well behaved but doesn't do any tricks or know how to play. But ask him to run and it's off to the races.
My wife says he is the perfect canine version of me... he has dark hair, blue eyes, and is probably too skinny. He loves to eat, sleep, and run and that's about it. I can't argue the point
And he's kinda famous in his little circle. He's run all the big races as a lead. I have found lots of photos of him scattered around the internet...

We have never had a pet before but now we don't know what we'd do without him. He is currently sleeping on my foot.
