Ha - Cormanus, I know what you mean, BUT - Spaceman, unfortunately, I'm more like you.
The bike spent the day in my office (note the carpeting and houseplant in the above pics), where I spent much more time cleaning her than I did any true office work!
It's in 99% better shape than it was, but unfortunately there's some cracks and crevices that are just too inaccessible to shop rags...

Use a high pressure hose (Gerni etc). Just don't put it close to wheel bearing seals or the chain. Concrete slurry is alkaline and needs to be removed. A high pressure hose will not be a problem under the bike, around the frame or the cylinder head fins. Used at the right distance it will also remove bugs, mud etc from the oil cooler. Some high pressures allow you to feed a detergent or degreaser into the flow.
