Is this an awful thing to say on this forum, but, after the initial irritation and sadness, I always feel just the faintest sense of relief when this sort of thing happens. I find it reduces the tendency to obsess about keeping the bike perfect and makes it easier just to get on with riding it.
Papa Weeley, don't get me wrong, I feel for you. But, hey, it's a bike for riding on the road and it's going to suffer some wear and tear.
