Riding the CB on the way in to the office this morning, I rolled up to a road crew on a side street I often take on the bike. Flagmen were stopping traffic as they worked at sawing the concrete in the opposite lane. I got my turn to go, and realized too late that the water they use with the saw was running off over my side of the road - mixed with the powder from the sawing, a literal river of liquid concrete. I didn't think too much about it until I got to work, and noticed what looked like white paint all over my front tire. That, unfortunately, was just the tip of the iceberg; everything in line with the tire, from the front fender to the underside of the triple tree, to the rear wheel, and everything front-or-down facing in between was covered.
This was after I'd already cleaned the headers and the front of the engine from the oil filter up:

What a mess. I feel like my bike just lost its "new" virginity.
