They all have their proper character. I normally prefer twins, the way they deliver their torque low down in the revs, but they can be a bit clunky in the really low revs. The R9T is quite exceptional in this respect as it manages to remain smooth all the way through, and yet has the twin feeling. The CB is just smooth everywhere, but I do find it feels a bit low on power before the revs get up a bit like any 4 in line. The Beemer always feels powerful.
