my bike has 9500 miles now, the org front tire Dunlop 205 still have 2K miles left. Last week, went to my dealer looking around saw a Cb1100 on consignment with 6.5K with original front Bridgestone (BT45?) tire near the end of its life.
I like the Dunlop very much, plenty of grip, feedback, directional stability and quiet. I will use the successor of D205 Sportmax in future.
my prediction: front tire: 11K miles, rear tire 17K (it has more than half rubber left) I just ride normally but don't brake or accelarate like crazy, probably it explains.
I don't mind trying Bridgestone but don't want to take a chance, what if I don't like it and get stuck with it for few thousand miles?
