I'm a big fan of Bridgestone's BT-45 bias tires. My CB750 is on it's 3rd set and I think it offers a great combination of stickiness and wear. I average 12K front and 10K rear.
That said, the BT54's that came on my CB1100 did not impress (at least the front didn't). The front started showing wear bars at around 5,400 and was replaced with a PR3 at 6,000. The rear BT54 still looks fine at 7K.
Initially, I expected similar wear from the BT54 radials that I got on the BT45s, but that wasn't the case for the front tire. It seems to have a fairly soft compound and I think it suffered a bit from the excessive heat out here in the desert as other forum members seemed to get a lot more miles out of it than I did.
At this point I'll see how the PR3 works out on the front, but I'm seriously considering just buying a set of BT45s for the CB11 next time around.
