Do you have a tread depth gauge mikedude? I believe replacement is called for at 2/32 or even with the wear bars
This. Fronts don't have nearly the rubber new the rears do. Can't compare the two. I doubt seriously the OP has worn out their front in only 2k miles.

After almost 200,000 miles (17 years) on motorcycles I would like to think that I have learned how to read wear on tires.I asked for help with new tires, not members opinion on anything else.Treat me the same way that you want to be treated and I'll do the same.
Jeezalou mikedude, not trying to offend you.
If you just had asked where was the cheapest place to buy tires, the answers would have been entirely different, but you made the statement yours was nearly gone at 2000 miles which IMO invited commentary since it is an aberration and not in common with the experience of other members of the board. We cannot see your tire, and we also had no idea you had 17 years and 200,000 miles experience. You had 18 posts when you posted this and list no other bikes in your sig line. Most of us have not gotten the chance to know you. For all we knew this was your first bike and you've been riding for a short time.
I buy most of my tires at Sport Tour In Cincinnati, Ohio. They mail order.
