My CB1100 Std. feels great between 3K and 4K on the tach. Now that I'm officially past my 600 mile service, I'm going to rev it up a little to see what it feels like but imagine I'll be staying in that sweet spot.
Funny thing is I used to have a ZX6R that was sadly deficient on the low end and didn't come alive until closer to 6K but once there, pulled strong through 11K and didn't redline until 16K rpm! Crazy. The top end was just silly. On a race track that's great. For normal riding on city streets, I wouldn't trade what the CB gives us for anything.
