I like the tail on that CBX. I'm not unhappy with the classic chrome fender on my '13 by any means, but I wouldn't have minded if Honda had put something similar on our bikes.
It's interesting; the '70's Harley "Boat Tail" FX Superglides were hated by all when they were new. Buyers would chop the fiberglass off and bin it. Today they're one of the most sought-after collector items and a boat-tail with the original bodywork will sell for 2-3 times as much as another FX series from the same era. Are they worth more simply because they're rare?
