I detect very little vibrations, not at all an issue. the bike is very smooth for me and more so after break-in. I use synthetic blend, it is smoother.
I agree.
to me this bike is almost perfect for me - I am 5.7'', it fits like glove. I sometime take her to a long ride on almost deserted back roads, the bike feels very nice. Able to keep up with sport bike if I muster enough courage, able to keep up with HD riders who possess a huge amount of torques. Someone say this bike is too docile compared to GRX750 but it is not designed to be a sport bike in first place. It is actually designed for Japanese market the first place where women can ride it.
Being an old schooled, I like steel frame, not spaced age appearance. This bike use high quality part, I am sure it will look good after 10 yrs with reasonable care. I hope Honda will bring the CB1300, an kick butt bike for torque lovers.

This bike is a pure joy to ride. seemless transmission, perfect ergos, smooth torque curve across the entire rpm range combined with minimum vibration. My dealer made a comment to the effect that he had sold many Honda's for a nickel. I said "do what"? At this point my bike was on the center stand in the service bay. He then instructed the technician to fire it up. As the bike was idling he reached in his pocket removed a nickel and set it on the top of the crankcase on its edge and the nickel did not move. I was amazed by this. He then stated "how's that for smooth".
