There are exceptions. Karen over on the ST board has 2 ST's attends rallies all over the country, works on her own bikes, posts daily. I met her when she rode down here from Connecticut (I think... i know she's from the east coast somewhere) for a rally here in Ohio. Heck of a rider and motorcycle enthusiast she is.
