Looks like you could have moved up a bit too. A touring seat like a Russell Day Long where you both have your "bucket" to sit in would do wonders (it also earns its' name, dang fine seat (and I'd like to use a stronger word than dang )).

You know, a Vetter fairing would be a nice addition too......

You're absolutely right. And I would have had I known how close to the edge she was and that she felt somewhat uncomfortable. She didn't say anything until we got home! Ideally, you should be able to ride in your normal riding position with a passenger behind you. But if I can convince her to give it another try, I'll scoot my ample backside forward some. That and a tank bag so neither of us have to wear a backpack would also help.
