Not sure I'd want that type of fitment....is that just empty space where the bottom of the riser meets the curve? Seems if that is not flush than an emergency stop would put much more pressure on the 4 bolts and that could be a lot of force for those to handle. I guess abs would mitigate that.
The fit on the bottom does leave empty space. I'd prefer not to have it that way as well, but wasn't able to find any better options. Right or wrong, I have some faith in the folks at SW-Motech in terms of product design so was willing to go with this based on that.
