Better? Nah..just different. Same with the 4-2 exhaust--Not upgrades...just changes. The larger tank...marginal upgrade. They're both new. The model year will make almost no difference in five years.
That may have all sounded argumentative, but that was not my intent. Most of the differences in the two bikes are cosmetic and each have their own individual appeal. in my opinion, only the ABS would warrant the extra cost....unless the DLX just plain looks better to the buyer.
