6 speed made almost no difference to me in my test ride. Nice that it's there, but I wouldn't pay $1900 for it. Unless the 2014 is ABS, I'd get the 2013 and use the savings for accessories or to pay for a nice motorcycle vacation.

OR...get the one that is more appealing to your eye.
