He did show me and I'll try to remember that to undo the seat, you have to go behind the helmet lock right?
LOL The "Chicagoland Chapter" consists of Tim (Short Timer), Todd (Todd_K), and Matt (yours truly) and we have met once, sometime last summer (there's a Seat Time report about it). We have not set anything else up, yet. I think Todd may be reluctant to come to any more meetings since I threatened to kill him for his Vanson jacket, but who knows?
I would love to have another meeting and ride and I'm sure we can set something up for this spring. Just keep checking the forum.
Glad you met Fred. I like him a lot. Next time you're in, introduce yourself to T.C., the tall, thin, parts guy. He's always been incredibly attentive to my wife and me when we need parts. He will spend as much time as you want surfing their suppliers' catalogs for the right part. I know that I can probably get some things cheaper on the internet, but I like buying local when I can and T.C. is such a nice guy--I like to get business to him.
They also host these "Super Saturdays" events which are usually informative http://www.psnnewsletter.com/newsletters...50_45.html I am planning on going to the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Safety Saturday presentations and maybe the others, but that depends on any orders I receive from The Tower.
