Oh, it looks great. I just rank it 3rd out of the choices I listed. As you say, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder", and the differences that improve appeal can be subtle.
Look at these two photos from the Honda Design website. They rejected the top one as "too tense", and went with the bottom design instead...

To me, the rejected top example is reminiscent of the minor changes in the 2014. When I purchased my 2013, the 2014 was also on the floor and available, so I had a side by side choice. To my eye, the 2013 won the contest.
