The bike in Ferret's link is an RC42. It's an upgraded version of the U.S. Nighthawk (better brakes, suspension...) that was sold in Europe and Japan throughout the 90s and 00s. The Freddie Spencer edition is nice, but I prefer it in the classic RWB paint scheme.

As for the original question, I would have definitely bought one if the CB1100 were not available. I was in the market for a classic UJM because my old Nighthawk was getting on in years. If there were no CB1100, this would be the obvious choice for me.
