I bought this bike because its different, old school cool and love the looks. The price was more than right, a 2014 STD. For 8200 new. Wanted a change from my other "second bike" still have a full touring bike too. But I have to say as far as the jap bikes go I feel Kawasaki really leads the pack and Yamaha is right there too. As far as all their line of bikes go they have a much larger selection and higher performance in every line. The cruiser lines of vulcans and star are great bikes and the sport bikes are outrageous. Honda is lacking compared to the two other companies. I've always been a kawi fan, if they came out with a Retro KZ1000 I would be all over it. I love my Honda and will try it out for a while and see how it goes.
