How critical is break-in procedure? Just as critical as which type of oil you choose! In other words, theories and opinions abound.
I'm sure the ferret can give you a direct answer as to mpg. He's rather, how should I put this...detailed when it comes to things like that. I'm not certain what the mpg works out to but on my last tank full, I went 183 miles. I refilled with 3.6 gallons into my 3.9 gallon capacity tank.
EDIT: I see DAC beat me to it!
MG.... your last tank was 50.9 mpg (50.8883 actually) 183 divided by fuel used 3.6 gals...So, you should be able to go over 180 before pushing (182.999 actually)
The hardest part about using the fuel available in your tank is that daggone flashing light that comes on at 130 miles and scares the bejeebers out of you for 30, 40, 50 miles all the while you are expecting you will run out of gas.
