Yes. The Guzzi isn't going anywhere. These are very dissimilar bikes. Literally at the opposite end of the riding spectrum and I appreciate each one for that. What they do both have in common is an exceedingly high level of finish in the components directly from the manufacturer and the fact that their detractors immediately default to the horse power output. I'm constantly telling folks that if your yardstick for a great bike is HP then walk away from the Guzzi. I have now purchased the Honda which (depending on whose numbers you believe) puts out another 36 additional HP at the crank above the Guzzi and I'm STILL hearing about power in the negative (in the press). 50 HP at the crank will kill as dead as 110 will. HP wasn't even a consideration for me. The Honda is a lot of bike for the money, it's unique, as reliable as an anvil, and it reminds me (like the Guzzi does) of some very good times in my youth.
