Be very careful with this seller. I'm certainly not saying he's a scammer, but let me tell you my experience.
He posts a lot of similar ads with photos on ebay too. About 2-3 years ago I called him after seeing his ebay auctions. (Really ads, because he shows maybe 8 bikes in each auction photo.) He says he has lots of bikes available, we talk specifics and he says he has what I'm looking for. We setup a Saturday meet, and I drive the 180 miles to his place, with my trailer in tow. I'm a serious buyer.
His workshop is amazing. He had probably 50 classics in there. 99% in as found condition. He had not even inspected them yet. But while his auctions show around 8 or 10 already restored and finished, when I got there all he had were two really nicely restored and when I inquired about them, he said they were sold. He kept steering me to a few in original condition, some of them were quite rough. And the prices for the rough ones were the same as he had advertised for the mint condition restored ones.
Bottom line, I came away thinking he was disorganized, and probably not dishonest. I drove off angry at the situation where I had driven so far for nothing, but I wound up driving a little more that day to look at a 1978 CB400T and bought it.
