uscgmac, the replies on this thread do not really show that you are correct when saying most people have hit the speed limiter and want more. Personally the roads that I do most of my riding on simply don't allow you to get near the limiter, and I like it fine that way. That said, I really don't understand the purpose of the limiter. There are many production bikes less capable than the CB that do not have a limiter, so why did Honda put it there?
Something to think about which in my opinion has been a lot more annoying was the French regulation limiting all bikes to 100hp! Yep, this has been in place since 1985 and should be removed by next year. Now that is annoying!! I don't necessarily like to go fast, but I do like power and would not in any way want my engine restricted!
