I know that the power provided is enough for most people and some say its the fastest bike they ever owned. But in reality with the speed limiter in place, as far as today's motorcycles measure up, its extreamly slow on the top end and by no means a fast bike at all. Its a great all around bike and will get up to speed quickly and smoothly but if anyone has ridden a modern larger displacement motorcycle it really does not hold its weight up top. You have to reprogram the ECM to get its potential power. People think that that 112 MPH is more than enough which is correct in most cases but for some of us which choose to unleash all it has this bike falls short. I've never owned a bike that has been limited before. This is the slowest bike I've ever owned, even my 600cc bikes from the middle 80s were faster than the CB1100. Some may say the bike wasn't intended for this but neither are most cruisers and they were all faster too. Its just a shame that i have to spend close to 400.00 bucks to get her true power and speed, but she's more than capable.
