Those would be the main attractions and highlights on that route - Celidh Trail to Shediac and Hopewell.
Other than the scenery along the way, photo opportunities would be whatever you happen to see that appeals to you.
But if you have the time, and if you're interested, you could detour to the Confederation Bridge that links the province of Prince Edward Island to the province of New Brunswick. From the NB side you can get some good shots of the bridge.
The bridge was opened in 1997, is just a tad over 8 miles long, and is a bit of a modern marvel of engineering - but it's not right there as you pass by. You have to make a substantial detour from your route. Just a thought.
Deer are the largest wild animal you may encounter on the mainland (possibly a moose), but there are a great many moose on Cape Breton Island so keep your eyes peeled - especially in the early AM and in the evening.
All the speed limit signs are metric so don't get caught speeding or with a radar detector. Canada has been metric for decades so "I didn't know" won't work with the cops.
