I've seen a total of four CB1100s out and about here in the Portland area. Strangely, I see far more Hawk GTs around these parts — surprising for a bike that sold poorly and was discontinued almost 25 years ago.
Sometimes when I think about the CB1100, I'm reminded of Kawasaki's W650. Here for two years and then gone. They didn't sell well. But now if you do find an example up for sale on the used market, it probably won't be around for long before finding a new owner while selling for a good sum of money. It would have been nice if Honda had sent over more of the Deluxe models in 2015, but I'm doubtful that they would have sold too many more than they did. While I'm certainly hoping that the CB1100 makes a return to this market in 2016, I don't have high hopes. I'm simply grateful that they brought the CB1100 over here even for a short period of time
