My understanding is that the beak actually creates down force on the front end to keep it stable at speed.
I probably would like the GS if I rode one. That's why I haven't. I can't afford one. If money were no object, I probably would have a BMW GS, KTM 1290 Super Adventure, or Ducati Multistrada. I like my V-strom 650 other than its slight lack of power. As long as I keep the CB ss my fast bike, I'll be happy with the V-strom. Both are paid for...pretty much decided I'm just gonna keep what I got until something comes along I can't do without.
