I haven't seen forward controls for the CB. Seems like it would be awkward trying to shift and break with your legs splayed out around that wide 4 cylinder. On a v-twin, it is narrow enough to work. Nevertheless, I'm not a cruiser guy and don't feel comfortable in that feet forward position. It hurts my lower back, particularly without any sort of back support. Also, I like being able to use my legs to unweighted myself grom the saddle or to move around while going over bumps or through corners.
The adjustable pegs really helped with the hip discomfort. Sometimes, I get some lower back soreness. It seems to follow how my back feels in general which has a lot to do with how I sleep. My new mattress I bought in January just isn't giving me enough supports. Place where I bought it has a 1 year comfort exchange. My new mattress is being delivered this Saturday. I am hopeful this will help me out with my back pain. To be honest, I need to work off 30-40 lbs I've gained over the last couple years and that will improve my back and hip issues significantly.
