I've been enjoying my XR650L a bit more (trying to solve some fueling issues too). Due to a 36"+ inseam, the tall dual sport is great to ride on - the seat needs work though. Short wheel base, tall bike, it's like riding in an elevated Jeep. Sitting on the CB is like going to a Buick. And sitting on the ground.
