Brook, if the bike doesn't speak to you, there is nothing to apologize for. I've yet to meet anyone that doesn't find the CB beautiful. But its performance and engine characteristics aren't for everyone, and throwing a bunch of money at it might not be a good idea. You are right about the T'Bird Sport. The Triumph triple is a character- rich engine, and in my opinion, the best all around motor today, in all its displacements. But in reality, the CB is a more modern and refined bike than that now- 20 year old design. Good luck.
