Yeah, I'm feeling pretty annoyed for not researching these details before buying. It's all pretty clear now in retrospect. I haven't had a reason to question all this until I went for a fast stop yesterday when a truck pulled out and stopped short. I left a long trail of rubber on the road. Fortunately, it was a dry day and a grippy road, or I would have likely locked the front tire, too, and eaten some pavement. I didn't modulate my grip because I assumed ABS was there for me. I'd be really po'd at the PO, except that she was selling her husband's bikes after he died and I'm pretty sure she just made a mistake. But still, I am letting her know that I expect a check in the mail. We'll see how stand-up she is. Harrumph.
