Had my CB for 17 months now. It stays in a carport, open on one side and facing north. Winter humidity can be a real problem when we get a sudden warm spell. I keep ceiling fans going at that time. Thus far everything seems okay with the finish.
I cannot remember the name of the product but UK members of the Tiger 1050 forum were touting the virtues of a spray on product used to protect their bikes from high humidity and winter road conditions. I'll try to find the product's name.

That's good stuff. Commonly fogged inside airplane wings and fuselages to fight corrosion. Never heard of being used on the outside of a vehicle.
