Here we go, on the way back from Marlo this morning passing through Nowa Nowa the last fuel rectangle starts to go the bink. Between Nowa Nowa and Bruthen (30 km - 18.6 miles) even a Texan oil driller will find no gas, this also applies for the stretch from Bruthen to Bairnsdale (25 km- 15.5 miles). It's a long walk when the noise stops.
Filled the tank at Bairnsdale 11.6 liters 3.06 US gallons (on the side stand).
If Honda had designed the low fuel light for Eagle Buzz and Neil could have done a lap prior to landing at the Sea of Tranquility but then Eagles fuel economy was better than Saturn V's 7 inches to the Gallon.
Time to go outside for some domestic labour before sunset, getting credits for 5 days in October @ PI
Regards
